Kakejani

Kakejani is located approximately 4.67 km south-east of Rahoki town and it can be accessed from Kario Ganhwar-Golarchi road via Tarai link road to the site. The site of Kakejani also known as Kakejani Deveri (hereafter Kakejani), it is a large site, measuring 100 m in length, about 43 m in breadth and about 3 m high from the surrounding area. The cultural material scattered over the site clearly belonged to the Islamic period, it included plain and painted black on red ware, glazed pottery, bowls, terracotta toy ship, terracotta quern, animal figurines, shells and carved yellow stone grinders.
