Haji Talib Daro

The site of Haji Talib Daro is located approximately 3.81 km north of Tarai town, it can be accessed from Tarai town via link road to Haji Talib mosque. Haji Talib Daro is located near Haji Talib mosque on a mound. It is a newly discovered site, not reported earlier. There is a mosque situated on top of the mound which is completely renovated hence not documented and the mound is also occupied by recent graveyard. The measurements of the mound are 68.5 m in length, 48 m in breadth and about 1.5 m high from the surrounding area. The cultural material spread over the site clearly belonged to the Islamic period; it included plain and painted black on red ware, glazed pottery, spouts and terracotta quern.
