Haji Ashraf Thebo Bungalow

The bungalow of Haji Ashraf Thebo is located in village Ripp, about 2.5km South-west of Hyderabad/Badin road. Thebo Bungalow was built by Ms. Imamat Khatoon, for her only son Haji Muhammad Ashraf, about a century ago. He was a landlord and a philanthropist known for his charity and hospitality; bungalow of Haji Ashraf Thebo is enclosed within a compound wall with main Iron Gate on the western side. The facade of the bungalow is on the western side and it is decorated with five recessed tudor arches, three arches are adorned with wooden Jaffri and a door in the central arch. Two corner aches have wooden door and a window. There is a pointed trefoil arch decoration and round tiles frames above the arches. The parapet has a cornice and tile border. The roof of the central rooms is elevated. The southern side of the bungalow is decorated with eight recessed arches, six being decorated with wooden jail and doors, the corner arches are further adorned with two arches with wooden jail and other decoration is same as facade. The eastern side is same as facade whereas the northern side is decorated with four semi-circular arches with wooden door (one door was blocked later-on).
