SindhTombProtected
Rumi graveyard is located about 05 km west of Wahi Pandhi town, it can be accessed from Wahi Pandhi via Gorakh Hill Resort road cutting near stone crushing plant via earthen track towards Rumi graveyard on high hills of Khirthar mountains. The Rumi graves are found in various parts of Sindh and Baluchistan province, they are built in different shapes, style, design and decoration. Some are on high platform and some on low; these are known with different names viz. stone carved graves, Gharyoon and Rumi`s. Some believe that this style of graves originated before the arrival of the Persians in Sindh. One finds several platform-types of stone graves in Sindh especially in Karachi, Jamshoro and Dadu districts. There are two groups of Rumi graves on the bank of Nain Nali/Narri, near Wahi Pandhi. The first group of Rumi graves is located on the southern bank of Nain Nali and another cluster of Rumi graves lies on the northern bank of Nain Nali. Both groups of Rumi graves are at a distance of approx. 1.5 km from each other (Talpur period).
