The State Guesthouse located in the heart of the city on The Mall and inside GOR established during the British rule. This building has historical value for providing temporary and permanent residence to the viceroys of India and after partition it served to provide luxury and comfortable lodging to the foreign state guests, including heads of the state and ministers.
