Shrine of Hazrat Jan Muhammad Hazuri

The shrine of Hazrat Syed Jan Muhammad Hazuri is in Garhi Shahu on Allama Iqbal Road. The saint was surnamed Hazuri as he could be admitted to the presence of the Holy Prophet of Islam. The saint died in 1708 CE. The walled enclosure of the shrine has two domes in the form of an arched gateway. The chonogram inscribed on the tomb reads: The is the tomb of Jan Muhammad of profound learning who was praised for the love of Muhammad, And now after death the lover and the beloved have met together.
