Shrine of Sultan Ahmad Qattal

It is located on Jalalpur Pirwala - Lodhran Rd, Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan. This tomb is nearly 35m high and is considered to be a copy of Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam`s historic shrine. The great saint died in 1041 Hijri (1671 CE). After four generations, in the year 1157 Hijri, during the reign of Sultan Ahmad II, Governor of Multan built his shrine with 200,000 rupees in Jalalpur Pirwala city, some 90 Kilometers from Multan. The shrine is a marvel in its construction and calligraphy. It was completed in almost 50 years. Physical construction of this shrine was done by Mohammad Murad, a resident of Steeper (Muzaffargarh).The shrine area has 550 acres agricultural land annexed to it and its income goes to Auqaf department. The shrine has unique blue kashi tiles and munawati tiles which enhanced the beauty of this tomb.
