Dargai Fort

Dargai is famous for its battles during British rule. The British commenced their campaign against Malakand in 1853. For stationing permanent army here, Dargai Fort was built in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. It is a burnt brick strong fort strategically located with high walls provided with loopholes in the high wall on top for defending the fort from outside intrusions.
