Qasim Dheri (Qasim)

An archaeological site, in the form of a mound is located in Qasim village of the Upper Dir district. The site is measuring 14x27.40m. The exposed structural remains at the site shows the foundations of a large hall, built of stone slab, possibly a Buddhist establishment. Potshards and terracotta beads were found from the site. These findings indicate that the site was occupied during Kushan period.
