Hussai Dherai

An archaeological site, lies 8 km north of the famous village of Shahbaz Garhi on Mardan-Swabi Road. It is an oval shaped mound that measures 150mx200m and attains height of 152.4 m. The surface of the mound is covered with potshards and shows affinities with Buddhist material. The site was protected in 1938 and it is a government property.
