A Buddhist period archaeological site, in ruined condition, spread over an area of 1km square, several structural remains existed at seven different localities indicating a large settlement site, having an adjacent stupa and monastic establishment. The surviving rooms measuring 345x345m, walls stood to an extend height of 1.85m, while thickness measures about 66cm.
