Ranikot Fort

It is believed that this fort was constructed by Nawab Wali Muhammad Leghari, the Prime Minister of Sindh during Talpur dynasty, while some scholars believe that it was constructed during the 17th century CE. It is the world`s largest fort with a circumference of approximately 26 km and has been on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage List since 1993. The site is associated to Kalhora period.
