Munara site (near Kingargalai)

An archaeological site, in ruined condition comprising scattered remains and small fortifications like structures built of rough masonry. A large number of Buddhist establishments on tops and slopes of hills are visible. A main stupa, square in plan surrounded by small votive stupas and small chapels inside a court are also visible in bad state of preservation. Close to the stupa complex, on the south-east is a square water tank, measuring 3.6 x 3.6 m in size.
