An archaeological site measuring 80m north-south and 200m east-west with a height of 1m is spread over an area of about 36000 sq.m. A small Muslim period graveyard of recent times is in the central part of the mound. The shards of bowls and cooking pots, internally carinated lids, flaring rims of bowl having thin texture and bowls with finger grooves on both sides have been reported.
