An archaeological site in the form a mound is located in Bagh area of Upper Dir. The site is measuring 17x14.50m. The remains of thick walled structure in diaper masonry is visible across the section of the mound. The surviving and exposed remains are in dilapidated condition. Other findings include potshards, which were found scattered on the surface of the site. These findings indicate that the site belongs to Kushan period.
