Gaggar Graveyard

PunjabCemeteryProtected
An old graveyard measuring 27mx 20m and the size of graves are 3.30x2.30x0.90m. Most of the graves have been constructed with small brick laid in mud mortar and plastered with kankar lime. The scattered brick bats suggest that most of the graves are disturbed. Out of the twenty graves, only five graves are in good condition. Graves are built on rectangular low platform in three tiers with lime plastered cenotaphs. Only one grave has fresco painting.
