Mai Sher Bano Mosque, Qila Chowk

Mai Sherman was a sister o Mian Ghulam Shah and a daughter of Mian Noor Muhammad Kalhoro is said to have built this mosque and a Madrassah located near Pucca Qila. This mosque is built with burnt bricks and finely plastered. It is surmounted by a dome and minarets. It is a double storey building. Ground floor is used for prayers while the first floor is used for a Madrassa (religious school). The monument belongs to Kalhora period of Historic Sindh.
