Mudke Mound

An archaeological site measuring 375m east-west and 155m north-south with a height 3.5m, badly disturbed by a Muslim graveyard. The surface collections consist of a shell bangle fragment, broken dabber a complete bowl and a body of animal figurine. The form, shape and texture of pottery show different types of pots in red ware, fragments of cooking pots, water pitchers, jars, bowls, large vessels, dishes, miniature pots, lids and bases of bowls are very common.
