Sarai Mughal

This Mughal Sarai is square in plan, each side measuring 166.4m. The main gate of the Sarai has been provided from the western wall in the form of an arched opening within rectangular sunken frame and decorative rectangular recessed panels on the flanks. The interior of the entrance chamber is square in plan. Corner squinches have been created to support the hemispherical dome, which has now collapsed.
