Rock Shelter (Mohrian)
IslamabadRock ShelterProtected
A huge rock shelter supported by sand stone boulder. The rock is a part of long ridge extended in south-west, north-east direction. Rock shelter is facing towards south. Apart from some modern graffiti, there is a crow engraved on a boulder supporting the shelter. The carved figure seems to be older than, modern names inscribed over the top of the shelter. Surrounding area is badly eroded. Some tiny fragments of potshards are scattered in front of the shelter.
Photographs: Department of Archaeology & Museums national inventory record, displayed from the official source (doam.gov.pk). Not PWHI photography.
