Jamia Mosque, Kuri

A mosque, rectangular in plan, whose verandah measures 13.30x28m while courtyard measures 13.30x6.50m. It is built in small burnt bricks laid in lime mortar. The main hall of the mosque measures 9.5x4.8m. Main prayer chamber has one main entrance. Roof is supported by the arches on either side of the main hall. Central dome has been erected on a high drum. Zone of transition has been created with squinches. It is reconstructed by CDA and all the surface decoration has been concealed under the thick paint.
