Mir Chakar`s Tomb

The tomb of Mir Chakar Rind Baluch is also known as Chakar-e-Azam, built on an octagonal plan internally with 4 m high arches at two levels, measuring 8.2 m across, excluding the 2.4 m thick brick walls, surviving to the height of 9.1 m. The tomb is built in two stages supported on high arches at each side of an octagon internally over which the circular base of the dome was built. The single dome has now collapsed. The tomb is built of baked brick tiles of size 16.5 x 10.1 x 2.5 cm laid in mud mortar. It was originally plastered with about 1.9 cm thick layer of kanker lime and finally finished with 0.7 mm thick layer of fat lime cream-traces of which still survive.
