Site of Ancient City Vijjhi

This archaeological site also known as Vijjhi or Subz Pind is situated close to Vijjhi village, 3.2 km South-west of Miani town. Malwal Bhera Railway line passes close to the mound on its south. The mound is littered with potshards and brick-bats. The potshards are plain as well as painted. Coins of Kushana king Vasu Deva were found from the surface site. The mound is standing amidst the green cultivated fields and it is also covered with green shady trees.
