An archaeological site, associated with early Islamic and Sultanate period, remains survived to a maximum height of 2.4 m and covered an area of about 10,000 sq.m, mound is badly disturbed. The pot shards collected from the surface were of dull red, light red and pale red ware and included water pitcher rims fragments. One of the rims was externally decorated with rope design and another with incised band of parallel lines.
