Sharda Megalith I
Azad Jammu and KashmirMegalithProtected
This Megalith obviously belongs to a remote antiquity, which has been documented in the Sharda Neelum Valley. The circular shaped Megalithic site contains as many as 13 large standing stones aligned in such a manner as to form the circular shape. The site is presently surrounded by few graves of later period. The explorers have though tentatively placed in the 4th millennium BCE, but further investigations and comparative study of the megaliths would help in precise dating of these megaliths.
