Barna Baoli

This baoli is located on the south side of the road leading from Bhimber to Chapra sites on about 1 km from Chapra village road. The Barna baoli exhibiting a circular well and has a separate access through comparably descending flight of 36 steps. The well has been sunk down to eastern site of access gate way. It is circular in shape and has been constructed in dressed limestone masonry. A stairway descends directly from the platform and end up a similar landing built up a short level above the water level. The well is made of burnt bricks and of small stones. There is another small water tank on the side of the steps. The steps are built in limestone of red color. On the step along with the well, four semi-circle arches were designed built in burnt brick masonry. A curved symmetrical structure is supporting the weight of the bridge, roof, or wall above it.
