Jamia Mosque of Khanpur Khan Garh

This mosque is situated in the Khan Garh village. It is built with burnt bricks and lime plaster. The mosque has several minarets with finials. The mosque has a rectangular prayer hall and also a rectangular courtyard. The main entrance has wooden frames and eight twin pillars made of timber. Burnt bricks, and lime mortar is used in the construction. The timber is also used in the construction especially in roof and pillars. The mosque has two minarets on the corner of the north and south wall. The mosque has three entrances to the prayer`s hall. The mosque has also two other entrances i.e., from northern and other from southern side. The southern wall has inscription for the date of construction 1312 A.H. Also floral and geometrical paintings are visible on the entrance. The mosque has beautiful Mehrab toward western side. The upper portion of the walls has Quranic calligraphy and Persian verses. There is also floral geometrical pattern on the roof, which is built with wood. The mosque has eight wooden supporting pillars to the roof.
