Baoli in Khura

This baoli belongs to Sher Shah Suri period and follows an accurate system of construction. It is 18.2 x 5.4 m at the exterior. At interior water is reached by descending a set of 22steps decorated with two semi circular arches. The steps of the stepped well are wide. The first 15 steps possess 12.7 cm riser frieze and 0.4 m tread leading to the well. The well is about 1.8 m deep.
