Darbelo Mound

This archaeological mound is situated in village Derbelo Purano taluka Kandiaro, district Naushero Feroz. It is approximately 6 m high from present surface on eastern edge of mound. There is grave yard around it except northern and southern sides, which are surrounded by agricultural land. There are two pillars still surviving, mud bricks wall and lime plaster on walls. Pottery found on surface is mostly glazed and plain, painted glazed tiles were also found on the surface of the site. The site is probably associated to Early Islamic period.
