Tomb of Noor Muhammad Shah

This tomb is situated in Syed Mohallah adjacent to the Jamia mosque of Noor Muhammad Shah Mosque. Tomb is built of burnt bricks, lime mortar, mud mortar and glazed tiles. Tomb is square in plan. Main entrance is provided from southern side only with multi cusp arch. After renovation, facade have modern glazed tiles, cement and glass work. There are minarets on facade; each minaret has a canopy and lotus flower with glazed turrets. A series of crowns is present on the top of facade. There is round dome sits on hexagonal drum with eight small turrets on drum while a finial with lotus flower on top. Four squinch arches are supporting the drum of dome. While four ventilators between squinches are also evident. Pendant is also evident in the center of drum. Outstanding floral, geometrical, marble and glazed tile work on outside and inside of tomb is visible. Only old inscription in Persian on grave head stone showing date 1207 A.H. There are blind arches and rectangular panels on the walls of the tomb.
