Ghittan Wari Bhit

This site is located at a distance of 1km in west of deh Ghittan wan, taluka Rohri and district Sukkur. The same site is also locally known with the name of Kinhari. The is a temporary settlement or camping ground is situated on sand dunes. Potshards in abundance are spread all over the surface in vast area. Site itself is totally abandoned; serves as grazing field for animals. The kachha track passes through the site which is in use of villagers. Wild vegetation is also dotted on surface throughout the remains area. The red ware pottery fragments found on the surface having cut mark, potters mark, incised lines, stamped and relief design on outside while red ware shards painted in black in net design and parallel bands are also found. Grey ware rims having cutmarks; potters identification marks are also visible on few shards. Besides pottery, chert blades are also visible on the surface.
