Bijnot Fort

The fort is in ruins but most of its original features survive. It is built of blocks of limestone set in locally available lime mortar. The outer fortification is almost square with an overall length of 91m on each side, excluding the corner bastions which are 9m in dia. There are two water reservoirs inside the fort, each measuring 6m in dia. and 12m deep.
