The site is located approximately 2km South east of the government primary school Poonger Bhanbhro and north of the Miano Gas Field Taluka Saleh Pat, district Sukkur. The site is in oblong shape measured as300 m in length in North south direction and 150 m in east west having approximately 2 m total height from surrounding grounds. The majority part is as surface scatter. It has sand dunes from all three directions through which the Hakra River was flowing. A thick layer of cultural material mainly brick pieces is present over the surface. The scattered artifacts are spread in approximately 45000 sq. m area.
