Site 3 near lake Khurandah Dhand

The thin scatter of cultural object was noticed on the slopes of a small sand dune along southern sides where a cluster of at least three lakes was present running parallel to each other. These lakes are narrow strips with maximum length of one km in North south direction. These lakes must have provided best subsistence resources which were utilized for seasonally. The thin presence of objects also suggests that this spot was occupied for short time period and hence is called as a camp site. The thin scatter of cultural material did not provided diversity of object but few potshards of different size suggesting different type of utensil for daily life; the flakes of chert stone suggesting manufacture of stone implements. The pottery showed characteristics of Hakra period.
