SindhSettlementProtected
The site is located on the southern shores of the Jamal Shah Lake at approximately 200 m in distance. At this site, the micro flaking activity was observed. The collected artefacts include chert stone flakes, blades, cores, micro blades, trapezes, burins, scrapers and borers. Some of the cores and scrapers show an affinity with the Upper Paleolithic period and the micro tools are similar to the Mesolithic tools, while the pottery shows a similarity with the Kot Dijian pottery. In other words, this site was occupied at least three times, viz. the Upper Paleolithic, then the Mesolithic and finally the Kot Dijian period.
