Hatun Inscriptions

The remarkable group of petroglyphs, inscriptions, and renderings of stupas were observed on the right bank of river Gilgit, almost opposite of the hamlet Haxtun. The inscriptions are all in Tibetan Script as published by Prof. Sagaster. Hatoon village is situated in Gakuch. Here 8 lines inscriptions are found. It is measured 3 x 1.8 m. The elevation is 1972 m.
