Garshin Mound

It is situated 4 km south of Lawerance and 25 km south-west of G.T. Road, some 1.5 km west of the Garshin village. Roughly of oval shape, it is spread over an area measuring 400 x 300 m with surviving height of 15 m. The site is split in two parts due to acute erosion. It is surrounded by cultivated land and encroached on all sites with the passage of time. Large number of pot shards were visible on the site.
