Purani Safrawad

The site is located about 28 km south-east of Attock city and about 3 km east of Safrawad village, measuring 140 x 100 m with maximum height of 4 m. The entire area is badly eroded and most of the site has been turned to cultivable land, while modern houses have also been constructed around the site. A dry hill torrent is running on north-south direction on south-east of the mound. The surface of the mound has been leveled for cultivation. Potshards are seen all over the area.
