Muslim Period Graveyard (Attock Khurd)

PunjabCemeteryProtected
This is a rectangular shaped ancient graveyard of the Muslims measuring 14 x 11.30 m. It is located on the main road just east of the Indus View Hotel and south of Attock Tomb. Its main entrance is still surviving, while part of the large complex on the east is also surviving in ruins with a rectangular room with a wagon shaped roof, which was once fully plastered from both side, but now much of the plaster has gone. Its entrance under a high niche is in the northern wall with a niche in its eastern portion. Its roof is in good state of preservation. The room is reportedly locked by the Auqaf Department. There is another small room in the eastern part adjacent to the big room towards south with no roof. It is locked. There is a rectangular platform measuring 14 x 2.54 m, which is lime plastered.
