Thagas Astana Complex

This Astana complex is located in Thagas, 40 km from the main town of Khaplu. The site features an array of historic monuments including a Khanqah, as well as two Astana, commemorating famous Noorbakhshia saints, and surrounded by around 25 graves. Apoo Mir Ishaq and Mir Yahya are the two saints buried within the Astana. The Astana of Mir Ishaq is a wooden structure erected over four stone corners -columns, with entrances covered in wooden latticework. The site attracts several pilgrims each year.
