Kayo Mosque

Gilgit-BaltistanMosqueProtected
This mosque consists of a prayer hall and a verandah on its eastern side. Located on a raised platform, this structure has been built using a traditional cribbage and cator technique, employing local materials. However, the Imambargah adjacent to this mosque is built with concrete cement, and is something of a jarring sight within this otherwise traditional and historic environment.
