Chumar Khun Mosque

This mosque is situated on a small hill above the old Chumar -Khun (literally: steel town) settlement, one km west of the Hyderabad village. It consists of a small, square-shaped prayer room, surrounded by a verandah on two sides facing the east and the south. The mosque was built on a raised -stone masonry base, reinforced by wooden joints locally known as cators. The structure of the building itself is also framed by a timber cribbage and cator structure. There are windows with carved blinds on the northern and southern side of the mosque. The door frame at the entrance is impressive, boasting elaborately carved patterns, likely of a Central Asian origin. It has a flat wooden roof with a projected parapet wall, as well as a carved fascia board and Jefferies on the verandahs. The communal sitting space is located next to the mosque.
