Khanqah-e-Moallah Balghar

This Khanqah is located in Balghar, a village on the right bank of the Shyok River in the district of Khaplu. Built on a raised platform and surrounded by the village settlement, it has been built using a traditional cribbage and cator technique, using stone, timber and mud. It consists of a main prayer hall, with a verandah on its eastern side.
