Goma Chulti Mosque

This historic mosque is situated at the core of the Goma Ghulti cluster in Churka village. On the northern side of the mosque a communal gathering space, shaded by a large plane tree. The mosque is accessed through a small passageway from the Goma Ghulti cluster. The edifice of the mosque is erected on a platform built with dry stone masonry, and the mosque itself consists of a main prayer hall with a verandah on one side that possesses intricately carved columns with beautiful capitals and bases. The main structure has been constructed using a traditional cribbage and cator technique.
