Matolu Mosque

This mosque lies in the midst of a cluster of historic buildings in Matolu, Shigar. It consists of a main prayer hall, accessed through a verandah on its east, and is built with a timber framed cribbage and cator technique, with two cribbage columns on either side of the verandah. The various wooden elements of the mosque have been carved in with different patterns.
