Gronkhoor Mosque

This building is situated on a raised stone platform, in the Gronkhoor settlement of the Churka village in Shigar. Built on a high platform that provides two routes of access to its main prayer hall, the mosque houses an additional room to its south, constructed using a traditional wattle and daub technique. This surplus room has been used for Moharram congregations since 1994.
