Mammoi Damb

This mound measures 110 x 70 m with maximum height of 3m and is situated in south of Kharan Besa road in Tehsil Besma with Mammoi village on its north-east. The site is surrounded by agricultural fields and it has been encroached by the local people for cultivation purposes. Signs of illegal diggings in search of antiquities can also be observed. Potshards from the site include thick texture light red are, butt ware, and grey ware. On the basis of finds the site can be safely dated to a time frame of 2800 to 2300 BCE.
