The mound measures 600 x 180 m with maximum surviving height of 9 m. It is situated approximately 300 m east of Kharan Besma road in Besma tehsil and about 2 km north of Hotal village. It is littered with potshards. Illegal diggers have exposed rough masonry structures at the site. On the basis of material collection, it can be dated to 3300 to 3000 BCE.
