Tomb in Gawadar

This octagonal shaped tomb is situated in Gwadar graveyard located in the heart of the city and measures 1.80 x 1.60 me with a height of 7 m. The monument had openings from all sides, but presently only the eastern entrance is in use. It was an octagonal canopy that stands on eight pillars with bases, shafts and capitals. The onion shaped cupola is erected on lintels in octagonal shapes. The cupola is built with curved slabs of sand sand-stone and top of dome is crowned with finial. The canopy is in dilapidated condition.
