Sotka-Koh

BalochistanSettlementProtected
Shadi Kaur is located west of Dasht Kaur, one of the two important transportation links in southern Makran between the inland plains and valleys and the coastal plain. The crossing of the southern Coastal Makran Range is easy and the archaeological evidence discovered along this road in the Pasni area underlines its historical importance. The site of Sotka-Koh is located in the valley of Shadi Kaur, 21 km from Pasni by the road to Turbat. The ancient site is situated on an outcrop of middle of the valley, on the left bank of the river and just south to track leading to Ormara.
